Pre-development Assessment for Pipeline Construction
CLIENT: Sub-contracted to Support a Canadian Leader in Energy and Environmental Waste Management Infrastructure
AJM Environmental Inc. was retained to conduct an environmental survey for a proposed pipeline located near Kerrobert, Saskatchewan.
The scope of work included:
Desktop review of existing environmental data, including a project screening report from HABISask, identifying species at risk potentially occurring within the project area;
Wildlife surveys for species of concern that have the potential to inhabit the project footprint, conducted in accordance with the Government of Saskatchewan’s Species Detection Survey Protocols. Surveys included assessment of habitat suitability, auditory and visual detection of species at risk.
Wetland and watercourse assessments within the proposed pipeline right-of-way to identify and classify aquatic features.
Following completion of the fieldwork, AJM prepared a summary report providing results and recommendations to support project planning and regulatory compliance.
