Coastal GasLink Pipeline - Construction Planning Support

CLIENT: AJM was Sub-Contracted to Support the Coastal GasLink Pipeline

AJM provided strategic senior professional support to the Coastal GasLink Project from 2019 - 2021. As a sub-contractor, AJM fisheries staff developed management plans in support of federal regulatory reviews (Fisheries Act), including instream blasting (use of explosives), beaver dam removal and end-of-pipe screening.

AJM also provided senior review of the Project’s Request for Review packages submitted to Fisheries and Oceans Canada and provided support to project compensation planning.

The Coastal GasLink Project is a 219 mm (48 inch NPS) O.D. pipeline which transports natural gas for approximately 670 km from approximately 40 km west of Dawson Creek, British Columbia (BC) to the LNG Canada Development Inc. (LNG Canada) liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility (LNG Canada export facility), near Kitimat, BC.
