AJM Environmental consists of a team of highly trained specialist that enable us to cost effectively tackle projects of various size and scope. Since 2012, the AJM team has been led by Adam Martinson. 

Adam Martinson
BSc(Hons), MEDes, MBA, PAg

Mr. Martinson has extensive experience in the environmental services industry having served clients across western Canada. His technical background includes wildlife, wetland, fisheries and aquatics projects for everything from pipelines, to oil & gas exploration and production to electrical transmission. He is a Qualified Wetland Aquatic Environment Specialist (QWAES) having developed numerous mitigation and compensation agreements associated with pipeline and drilling projects. He has worked on wildlife habitat assessments and populations surveys for development projects, in addition to authoring federal and provincial wildlife reports. Mr. Martinson has prepared applications for, and developed relationships with, numerous regulators including the AER, AEP, AUC and the NEB. He has successfully written applications under provincial and federal legislation, including the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act (EPEA), Water Act, Public Lands Act and Municipal Government Act. 

Mr. Martinson holds a Bachelors of Science with Honours from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and both a Masters in Environmental Design (with a specialization in Environmental Science) and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Calgary. He is a certified Professional Agrologist (PAg).
